We are in a Mission to attend a ball game at every major league venue. Marlins Park was stadium #29 for us. One more to go!!
One more unique feature of the park is this collection of Bobbleheads. They are from all the teams and include broadcasters. The entire collection 'bobbles' thanks to a constant movement of the shelves by an unseen motor.
We attended 6 games over 4 days at Marlins Park taking in Round One, Pool C play of the World Baseball Classic. Participating teams were from Canada, Colombia, Dominican Republic and the USA. Team USA and Dominican Republic advanced to round two and will compete against Puerto Rico and a yet to be determined fourth team in San Diego starting 03/14/17. If you enjoy baseball this event is fantastic and the fan experience will be unlike anything you have ever experienced!

This place is right behind the James L Knight Center, right between the Brickell Avenue and the S.E. 2nd Avenue bridge. I was on the North side of the Miami River pointing my camera South East. I found plenty of parking for a reasonable price. Best time if you want lots of action would be Friday or Saturday night. For a more desolate nights I would recommend Monday thru Thursday night. Here you will find an incredible amount of photography opportunities to shoot for. While like any big city you will find a few homeless folks, the place was very clean and very well kept. Lots of new, very tall buildings have made the Miami landscape a very popular site for photography!
