「There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. 」

「Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Betreiber. Habe sogar den Schlüssel für das Stadttor bekommen um abends nach dem Konzert ins Hotel zu kommen. Das Stadttor war für Fußgänger allerdings noch geöffnet! Hervorzuheben ist die Nähe zur Kathedrale, bzw. die Lage direkt an der Altstadt!!!」

「This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in all of England staying at this charming inn. The food was outstanding as well as the service and staff. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially if you want to visit several of the southern Pride and Prejudice movie sites such as Stourhead or Wilson House. Stonehenge is also close by! Great location! 」
