「The room was great, the staff very friendly but what was outstanding was the food, what a surprise it was, pub food is normally quite boring in my opinion but this was anything but. Pork belly mash and the most delicious red cabbage I've ever had and I've travelled a lot and eaten a lot in my travels, this was up there with the best. 」

「we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. 「Check in was very easy and the front desk agent (Mash) was very welcoming to the hotel. He was knowledgeable and gave the hotel a far more professional look in the way he worked and communicated - by doing this he stood out from everyone else working at the hotel that night. My room was extremely clean and comfortable- very quiet too. No complaints on what is a well ran budget end motel type property- great value for money and I’d definitely return.」
