"Had the smaller type of double room and it was still perfectly spacious, clean and well appointed. Friendly and helpful staff - even giving my bicycle the five star treatment."

"Do not stay here. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and the owner was incompetent - there was no apparent cause but for around an hour it kept tripping again so eventually I tried (without success) to sleep in my car. The hotel was dirty, no-one was available to help/serve breakfast etc, items such as milk in the kitchen fridge were out of date. It is a very old unmodernised property."
