"We stayed in the Pines. Looked to be the oldest building on the property . Our room had been renovated Had a nice experience. Our room was spacious. Breakfast area was very nice.I asked to have our room cleaned and the lady did it on her day off! Appreciated that a lot!!"

"We had an awesome time. Loved the view of the lake and that they have both an indoor and outdoor pools and hut tubs. We also loved the breakfast selection available. We are doing the Lake Michigan circle tour, and this is the best hotel we have stayed at along the stretch."

"This was the cutest place. The rooms are bright and cheery, clean, and the location was perfect! Close to the shops, a beautiful view from the porch near the water and bike rentals right there on property. 10/10. There were a lot of stairs within the hallway where our room was, but it was not an issue for us."

"We had a nice stay. Very cozy. Towels in bathroom were very rough. Not soft at all. Area near ceiling and corner in bathroom had peeling paint and cracks. Breakfast was good and had options. All staff were kind and helpful. Close to town."

"We accidentally left a backpack in our room on our checkout day. Only realized this when our carriage already left for the dock. The hotel has an excellent direct texting communication system with their guest. I sent a text and explained what happened. They sent someone to grab the backpack from the room and sent it to the next carriage going to the dock. We got our backpack in Mackinaw City! Talk about customer service!! The property is so gorgeous and dreamy. You guys are amazing! Great service! Great food! Great staff! Landscaping maintained to perfection and scenic views! We will be back! Thank you Stonecliffe!!"
