"No hay personal. No hay restaurante, ni recepción. Son apartamentos aislados en el monte. No te recibe nadie. Ni siquiera nos han pedido la identificación a los huéspedes. A la llegada no habia nadie para recibirnos. La decoración y diseño de los apartamentos es muy bonita pero no tienen casi ajuar para poder cocinar. No están preparados para el calor."

"We came to the Hesperia after a long, 12-hour bus ride around the Portuguese and Spanish coasts. Our one night stay was to see the Bilbao Guggenheim Art Gallery. After the bus trip we were shagged and I think the helpful hotel manager took pity on two old fogies and upgraded us to a junior suite. It was very comfortable and well appointed and only a 300 metre walk to the Guggenheim. The furnishings were high quality modern and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was likewise very modern and well set out. The breakfast next morning was of the good quality buffet style provided in four and five star hotels these days. The staff were helpful almost to a fault. The only glitch was that we arrived on a Sjunay evening and the restaurant was the bar area with a very limited menu with one of the wait-staff bumbling around looking as though could have done a course in hospitality. Would we go back thisn hotel again? You betcha That’s if we get the opportunity for a two or three day stay to take a good look around Bilbao which in Spain’s industrial heartland."
