Stayed here during our trip walking the Camino del Norte. Conveniently located just under 2km out of town. Food was great & the staff were very friendly & most helpful. Would definitely recommend
Beautiful charming historic property in agricultural area with animals and walking paths nearby. Lovely book-filled dining area and food was excellent.
Lovely stay whilst waling the camino. The surroundings are spectacular. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Superior double with balcony was lovely. Amazing shower. Friendly staff.
Only negatives:
Check in and check out took too long. Toilet flushed continuously overnight.
A lovely hotel, that feels more like a home! Very personalised service. Each and every member of staff we came across was equally friendly and helpful. Our dog was well received and much cared for! The food was great too. Great vibes all through!!
Extremely helpful staff. They were busy but took the time to explain Basque area and places to visit. Also, property is important to Camino pilgrims and their presence and stories inspired my wife and I to one day walk the Camino. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Getting there was a little stressful due to hairpin curves, but well worth it. So much character, and the food was amazing! But the best part was Íker, who did everything from checking us in, deliver items to our room, wait our table, and give area recommendations. He is truly an asset to the team and the reason we would be back.
This is lovely hotel in a beautiful part of the Basque country. The owner and staff are so friendly and told us the history of the building as a blacksmith of historical importance in the region. The building itself is beautiful with a central restaurant and corridors and rooms at mezzanine levels around it. The room had a balcony to stare at the beautiful mountainous scenery and the bed was huge. All in all a fantastic stay and would thoroughly recommend. The only thing I would add is that it is in the middle of absolutely beautiful country and whichever side you approach it from you'll be going up a winding mountain road so factor that into your journey.
Beautiful place to rest the night while walking the Camino. The walking stage that day was brutal and made me wonder if I could continue, however, Ana was comforting and encouraging. All of the staff was helpful. Excellent dinner and breakfast.

Little coasy hotel
Last Night in Spain before returnere to home.....my wife found The hotel on The internet and reserved it because it looked coasy.....it was coasy though hard to find, as no sign showed the way to the hotel......and it is hidden downhill a small road. But after asking locals we got the direction and found the hotel. Very charming receptionist but I instantly had to take an antihistamine due to dust in the hotel......the room was small as we had an extra bed for our son.....but the hotel itself was very coasy.......and receptionist honest and polite....I am sure guests enjoy staying there during the winter .....climbing in the mountains

Stay away!!!
Broken furniture and spider webs, no A/C in the “ double superior”
we had the reservation confirmed 6 month ago. A week before arriving the hotel cancelled part of our nights because they has a wedding event and needs all the rooms. Not only us that the reservation were done with Expedia, but a friend of us that reserved directly with the hotel months ahead has The same situation this hotel cancel your reservation even when are confirmed!!!! Stay away.
Enttäuschende Unterkunft.Überall Staub und Spinngewebe.Bäder und Toiletten aus den Fünfziger Jahren.Eingang und Rezeption nicht gereinigt.Keine Sitzgelegenheit im Zimmer.
Für den Preis völlig unzumutbar.Wollte eigentlich sofort wieder ausziehen.
En un entorno precioso en medio de las montañas, se respira la calma y la quietud. Un edificio espectacular. Todo el mundo encantador. Sin duda repetiremos.
