「We had a very warm informative welcome. The room was at the back which helped it be quieter when the private parties could be loud when they were on in the function room. It looks as if some updating is happening and needs new window frames and closers. The bed was comfy. Hospitality tray was great. In the bar the staff were great. 「Our stay was amazing from start to finish. I was kept updated with information regading all aspects including check-in protocol, wifi details and breakfast timetables. Our only interaction with staff personally, was at breakfast, which was delicious. We had a great conversation with one of the staff who gave us some fantastic advice and information in preparation for our visit to Edinburgh later that day. Thank you to all at the Home Arms, we'll hopefully visit again if in the area.」

「Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. 」
