"We traveled with two children until 3 and this was the perfect spot for us! Hotel was very clean and well maintained. We were away from the main touristy areas but still close enough to visit and explore when we wanted to. The area was quiet and easy to find parking. We could walk to the restaurant at the mall right beside us which was great! Staff was great! Breakfast was always great to start our day. You are so close to all the main attractions without dealing with the traffic and chaos of it. We would stay here again and highly recommended!"

Hyatt House At Ho'Opili

"Hotel was brand new. Issue with reservations resolved by Tiare. Bell service excellent. Front desk staff were helpful but key card initially not programmed correctly. Housekeeping on request and forgot to order but room cleaned and towels refreshed regardless. Room beautiful but configuration a bit unusual. Double doors to bathroom a plus. Large large foyer could have been repurposed to square footage as the room configuration was odd. Pool hours should be expanded it is 10 am - 8 pm, should be 8 am - 10 pm"

"The moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Aulani app was useful for events at the resort, such as times to see characters-Stitch, Moana, etc. It was easy purchasing items with the room key card. The food at the resort is expensive. Luckily across the street (6 minutes walking distance) there’s a store behind the Starbucks that sell cheaper meals, snacks, etc."

"This property is in a beautiful and well kept part of the island. The lagoons are great for swimming and just enjoying the sun. The gardens, views, and pools are beautiful. The beach bar is nice, but predictably expensive. The environment is noticeably more calm and tranquil than the downtown hotel scene at Honolulu/Waikiki. We never felt crowded or overstimulated. Having said that, if you plan to spend a lot of time in/around Honolulu/Waikiki, it’s about a 45 minute drive when traffic is considered. Check in was easy and our host quickly explained everything with a short but useful tour. Highly recommend this place unless you want to be downtown every day."

"Beautiful Grounds, but Marred by Timeshare Tactics and Poor Food The Atmosphere & Grounds I’ll start with the positives: the grounds are immaculate and the rooms are well-appointed. The staff is clearly well-trained in managing large crowds, and for those seeking a high-energy vacation club environment, this may be a dream. The Service Experience However, my experience was deeply disappointing. We booked this stay to break up a long journey from Thailand and New Zealand and to mark our 40th wedding anniversary. After a grueling red-eye flight, we were looking for the resort experience one expects at this price point. Instead, we felt "trapped" in a perpetual sales pitch. When we sought technical assistance with the resort’s app at the welcome desk, we weren't given a solution; instead, we were met with a misleading high-pressure invitation to a timeshare presentation. I would never have booked this location had it been clearly disclosed that the priority here is timeshare sales rather than guest relaxation. Dining & Health Issues The logistical hurdles with the app meant we missed out on reservations for the main restaurant. We turned to the pool grill, where I ordered a BBQ sandwich that arrived dry and burnt. Regrettably, I ate it anyway—an error that cost me the next two days of my trip due to illness. Final Verdict While the property is physically beautiful, the "hotel food" warnings I received were an understatement, and the aggressive sales culture ruined it."
