"Probably time for some Renovations / updates - it’s just not as luxurious as photos would suggest - more like a motel room which has a hot tub in it. The hot tub is great! But it’s old and buttons don’t work. Better lighting and fans / vents in the room would have helped I think. "

"Staff was great. The rest of the hotel not so much. The first room we were assigned to had a foul smell. Staff sent us to a new room without issue. In the new room the jacuzzi tub stopped working after 10-15 mins. We were told no one was available to fix it so we’d have to wait until the next day. Next day they fixed the tub but didn’t move the fridge back afterward so I took care of it. The bar restaurant area only had one cook and one bartender for the whole place and saw several people upset for slow service. Bartender was doing her best though. I feel for the price we paid and the 4 star rating it would have been much better than it was. IMO not a four star hotel and not worth the price. That said all of the staff was great."

"This was a really nice property. We had a late check in, and arrived at around 12:25 a.m. The front desk staff were pleasant and friendly. It was really a nice surprise to see that they had a little convenience stand where you could pick up snacks and drinks, and the little bar / restaurant was still open till 1:00 a.m. So I came back down after dropping my stuff off at the room and had a beer. The bartender was very kind and friendly. FYI, I chose this place because of It's proximity to foxwoods where we had seen a show, followed by dinner. It's only 5 minutes away and I'm glad we did. Thank you! Highly recommended!!!"
