Our trip was a quick romantic stop and our room was beautiful. The town of Stonington is lovely and we found plenty of things to do in the short period of time that we were there. The only complaint that I have is that the included breakfast was a continental breakfast and I would have expected a hot breakfast for the price paid for the room.
Our stay at the Inn at Stonington was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was serene—the room was impeccably clean and carried a subtle, spa-like scent that immediately set a relaxing tone. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was impressively spacious.
What truly sets this Inn apart, however, is the hospitality. The staff was warm and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. We especially loved the evening wine and cheese reception—a wonderful touch—followed by a sumptuous continental breakfast the next morning. We will definitely be returning!"
The Inn was exceptional. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The pastries and fruit delicious and the wine and cheese so fun! I will absolutely return to such a beautiful inn and town!
Very cozy rooms and spaces, deck overlooking the water, delicious breakfast and the friendliest, kindest service we’ve ever experienced. A place we would love to go to again and again.
Overall, this was a great place to stay, we would highly recommend it. We try to go to new places, but if we ever wanted to go back to Stonington, we would stay here again. The staff there are really nice and helpful, complementary breakfast and their wine and cheese tasting was wonderful.
Honestly there are really only two "complaints" we could come up with, but they shouldn't deter you from staying. 1. There was no fridge in our room. While they supposedly let you store alcohol in their bar fridge, it would have been nice to have a fridge located in the room for convenience. 2. Their parking lot is shared with the Breakwater restaurant. While they do provide parking cones to reserve spots, they are mostly a joke because people just move the reserved cones and steal your spot anyway.
Very clean place with great service
East check in
Very nicely decorated rooms with fireplace & balcony
Nice continental breakfast
Happy hour wine & cheese was a awesome surprise
Quaint little Resteraunts & shops within walking distance to inn on old school Main Street
The home was beautiful. It was well kept and very inviting. All of the staff treated us so well! The home was steps away from the water. The views were breathtaking.
I planned a birthday overnight for my husband's 60th, and Susan and her team could not have been more accommodating!! Even packing a picnic for me, putting champagne in the room at a moment's notice. It was jut amazing!!
Very much enjoyed our stay st the Stonington Inn. Everything was done so well; the room, cleanliness, free breakfasts. The staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.
One of the best places we have ever stayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the Inn atmosphere was one of relaxed elegance and the location was perfect. We started out with a view of sunset over the harbor from the back veranda and nothing disappointed after that. The continental breakfast was filled with homemade pastries and the evening wine and cheese welcome was excellent. We liked it so well that we ended up staying a second night.
The Inn at Stonington is a lovely and welcoming place. The room was large and so many wonderful touches made it so comfortable- nice chairs for relaxing, a soaking tub and separate standup shower, a sweet little balcony and lovely linens on the comfortable bed. The staff is friendly and helpful.
There was nothing wrong with the inn at all! We had a room with a balcony and the sunsets were amazing! The rooms were very clean staff was very friendly. Great atmosphere and wonderful people. We went on Labor day weekend and I thought the town was a bit busy which was still good. The only thing I found there was nothing to do in the evening around town except go out to dinner. It would have been nice to have a little something like music or something in walking distance. The beach close by was very small also. We had a great relaxing weekend though
A beautiful and clean B&B walking distance to good restaurants!
Our room and bathroom was very clean. On site staff very helpful with dining options. Definitely go to Noahs if you stay here either for breakfast or dinner. The B&B is very quiet with a nice continental breakfast included. I highly recommend this B&B!
Great rooms, immaculately clean. Very nice breakfast selections and a very good wine & cheese hour. Friendly, helpful service. Pricey, but worth it. Great location.
I have stayed several times as it is close to family in Mystic. Stonington Borough is a lovely town and the Inn is a perfect place to stay. Its comfortable and very nice amenities. Not a bargain, but worth the $$$.
