「Honestly, for a quick overnight during a road trip, it was perfect for the price. Clean room. Checked in at night and the night staff was helpful and nice.」

「The staff were very unapproachable and whenever we asked for assistance they seemed annoyed by us. The breakfast room doors were always closed and it was like they did not want us in there. And while we were in the breakfast room it was absolutely disgusting. Split/stuck on food everywhere that looked like it had been there for a LONG time. We went to go swimming and there were band-aids, spiders, debris all throughout the pool. We had to grab the cleaner and scoop items out prior to going in. ...

「The positive: we liked the location. The negatives: the room had a strongly bad odor when we arrived and never got better. The bathroom floor and toilet were dirty. There was only one bracket where there was supposed to be a towel rack. Needs a new shower head(was not really adjustable) and shower curtain. It looked like they were attempting to fix up the front entrance with gardening items, but it was junky looking.」

「The property was clean nice little town, the hotel was more a bed and breakfast. No amenities to offer , no staff on site past 7pm and no one arrives until 12pm. We were unaware and fortunate that we arrived early enough that someone was there to explain the system they use. Front door automatically locks and you need code. Same for room you need code. If no staff available you would have a hard time」

「Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quite dated but clean. Refrigerator worked but it had to be held closed. There was no breakfast but the coffee in the lobby was good. There was no coffee makers in the rooms. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub. It wasn’t bad for a night or two. There were a couple restaurants right next to the motel but Iron ridge is a really small town so there isn’t much around there, including a breakfast restaurant. All in all, not a bad motel but probably wouldn’t...

「The pull out couch mattress was flat and disgustingly dirty. Staff did put a new mattress on top after a lot of discussion. My sister’s room would not lock and she had to move her things into my room every time we left. The outer door to the hotel also did not lock, so anyone could enter the hotel at any time. The “breakfast” was a choice of 2 cold cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, &/or a banana. With cheap, wrapped “pastries” on the side. Coffee (which ran out), juice or milk (which also ran out)....

「Great location, easy access to interstate to Milwaukee or Madison...but plenty to do in Oconomowoc. Hotel was immaculate, nice to have mini kitchen and outdoor seating and firepit with great lawn for kids to run off steam. Highly recommend.」
