"Very clean. Very large rooms. We had a room with 3 queens and a couch. It accommodated our family of 5 perfectly. Gym was great! "

"The Good: The price was right compared to other nearby hotels. Plenty of food and shopping nearby. Walmart is close. The room had a fridge and microwave. Staff was nice and polite. Room was simple and appeared clean. Basic breakfast is included. I ate elsewhere as I needed better food for a long day. The bad: I didnt get much sleep the first night because of a low battery in a smoke alarm. Some of the doors of the nearby rooms slam loudly and woke me up a couple times. My card was charged $75 more than it should have. "

"Room were dirty beds had mold under the sheets also there was remnants of last guest on bed (blood,trash,foodtrays) there was no clean towels also the office could not provide new ones the next day for lack of laundry room access there was a leaky faucet that was quite annoying and there is a excess of migrants that live on site and are up all night the cleaning crew wasn’t helpful at all they all were constantly taking some breaks on stair wells and were rude enough to not speak or allow passage "

"Only slight issue it the shower control and tub spout should be replaced to work easier but other than that we had a great 1 night stat. We had our dog with us and everyone was very nice and accommodating."

"We stayed here for one night. It was very convenient to Chowan University. We had everything we needed and we could tell that there were upgrades made but it is still very old and needs more updating. The beds were extremely hard and noisy when you would move. The walls are thin and it was rather noisy when people were outside the room or walking around upstairs. It was overall clean and there was a microwave and a fridge. I think the stay could have been more comfortable if the beds were a bit softer and less noisy. It was adequate for our needs but definitely could be improved. "

"The whole place was super clean. Smelled clean as well unlike many other hotels we've stayed at on this trip. This was also the quietest room we've had on this trip. The rooms are well insulated, and the mechanicals are not loud and obnoxious like most. The staff was very nice, and breakfast was sufficient with nice crispy bacon! My only complaint about the breakfast bar was that there was no fresh half and half for coffee. Most places are cheaping out and using those coffemate pods which are coconut oil and sugar."
