「The staff was nice. The room was alright but they kept turning the water off at night and it wouldn’t be available until after 7am. The hotel is remote but if you have a car it’s accessible to a lot of attractions. 」

「Yes, the view was great. The pool was a great temperature, a little cool to refresh us. Plus 1 shower to take sand and sea off and another tap for feet and shoes . Lovely flowers in the garden. Great big fridge in the apartment. Breakfast was served in your room at a pre- agreed time. Every day different fruit and eggs , etc. 」

「The resort has a restaurant on the premises which I found to be very convenient and the room was cleaned. However, for a resort there were no entertainments. Furthermore, there was no microwave available for the guests if you want to warm up something and no iron in the room. 」

「This place is about 1hour and 45min from SJO and it was the perfect trip for a few days to visit nearby Parrita and Jaco. We wanted a quiet romantic bitoque hotel and it’s exactly what we got. We walked to the beach (about 10-15 min walk) and then relaxed by the pool. The property views were amazing! The room was clean and comfortable. 」

「When you leave the hotel for dinner, which you would probably want to do since the restaurant is terrible, be sure to return before 9 PM or else you will be locked out of the property behind a large gate. 」

「The stay was amazing and the images matched the vibes! My only recommendation is to ensure that you are clear on whether your meal includes gluten as the hotel menu doesn't spell that out clearly. Also, beware of limited and tight parking.」

The breakfast is amazing, love the swimming pool, check-in is simple and easy, spacious room, very friendly staff. Highly recommended.」

Our time at Shana was extremely relaxing and enjoyable - everything from the pool, to the daily happy hour, the included breakfast, and helpful front desk was top notch. They even went above and beyond to help us book memorable excursions. Couldn't recommend this hotel more!」
