The staff (Daniella in particular) was so very accommodating; they helped us greatly with scheduling tours; arranging transportation; suggestions for dining. The hotel itself was very uniquely designed compared to hotels in the US. Monkeys joining us for breakfast was an unanticipated treat.

Clean and nice hotel

Room was simple but very clean. Bathroom was quite small, but also perfectly clean and more than sufficient. The stay included breakfast, which was good. Monkeys sometimes come visit when eating breakfast. I didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice and clean.

Hotel is a bit dated, rooms require some renovation, at least a new paint. But the personnel is so friendly, helpful and hospitable, that they make your stay very pleasant. There are some good places to eat right next to the hotel and there is a supermarket nearby.

Easy to get there, clean and nice. At breakfast, that was complementary, some cute monkeys came to eat the bananas they put for them. That was amazing to see. The staff very friendly

My husband and I stayed here for one week. The Management and Staff were exceptionally kind and helpful individuals who made our stay a fun and memorable experience. Very bilingual staff. From the Manager, Daniel to the breakfast staff Lady and Glen, and all the housekeeping women, they were all incredible. They treated us like family! The breakfast was great despite the pesky monkeys, though enjoyable. An older but very well-maintained hotel, with beautiful decor, a courtyard, and a great swimming pool. Close to everything. Daniel was very knowledgeable of the area and events, he arranged several enjoyable day tours for us! We would definitely stay here again!

The Hotel offers the perfect location for visiting the Manual Antonio National Park, Quepos and the surroundings as well many great restaurants nearby which you can either reach with the public bus (that is running every 20 minutes in front of the Hotel) or by foot. The breakfast is great and you can even enjoy it with cappucino monkeys visiting for getting some bananas 😍 our room was very small and dark and only had a small window which was a little sad since behind it there would have been a great view into the jungle. Otherwise, price-value ratio was very fair!

Basic rooms facing either onto a courtyard or corridor. Nice pool inside courtyard. Breakfast is ok, scrambeld eggs and toast with fruit and coffee. The issue is sound. The hotel seems to cater to large groups in multi bed rooms, there are signs saying dont drink alcohol after 9 pm but they are largely ignored and as the soundproofing between rooms is poor you may well have a disturbed night.
