"Fire alarm went off, couldn’t get in contact with the host at all so the firemen had to override the system. without that the alarm would have went off all night.
no checkout information was given, so wasn’t sure what to do at all.
told to contact a number rather than on the booking site and never heard back.
better places in Lancaster to stay."

This is a nice stay for a short trip in Lancaster. The area has parking food, shops and restaurants. Easily accessible by metro and buses. The hotel itself has no amenities but the rooms are comfortable. There is a Witherspoon pub right downstairs can be a bit noisy but it ’s a college town it should be expected.

The Craven Arms is the most welcoming, amazing pub we've been lucky to visit in the UK. The stories about the owners and the pub are amazing. The regulars were super welcoming and happy to share a few pints and swap stories. The food is excellent and services is great!
And then there are the shepherd huts, so cozy, I only wished I stayed longer. I'll certainly be back!
