「I was given a room on the ground floor which was set out for a disabled person as were most of the other GF rooms. I’m sorry but this was not suitable it felt like staying in an old folks home and I had booked 3 nights. When I asked for a room change I was told the hotel was fully booked, I was not happy with this as I had paid approximately £90.00 a night to stay in a hospital room. I’m not very happy and won’t return to this hotel 」

「This is an excellent hotel/inn. Very convenient for the local wedding venues, especially convenient for Coltsfoot Retreat. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy, they are tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard. The breakfast is excellent, very generous, well prepared and presented, exactly what is needed the morning after the night before. 」

「The place is old, but not an issue. But the sheets weren't really clean and found a pubic hairs on my pillow. I slept in my day clothes. The facilities had free parking. I parked and asked reception during check in if that's the right place to park and they advice me yes. After return home from my business trip, I get a parking ticket from the hotel. I provided my receipts and prove I actually stayed there but yet they still insist to charge me with debt collection. Two night stay was...

「Very characterful inn, with friendly hosts, good food and roaring fires.」

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean It would have been nice to have a fridge and a safe in the room to store my passport and valuables It would have been nice to have an iron and drawers to put things into. I stayed for 5 nights so all the above would have made the stay a better experience」
