「Staff were very courteous and attentive. The hotel is dated and needs some TLC. The original building is full of character and additional rooms have been added later. Decor needs to be updated」

「Facility is a bit old but well maintained. Staff are good」

「We stayed at the Fox for 1 night and the staff made us and our dog feel very welcome. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Thank you all at the Fox. We’ll hopefully see you again.」

「A beautiful hotel, grounds and local amenities」

「Small room but clean and reasonable price. Breakfast included but simple 」

「very beautiful」

「Great location with easy access to the area. Really helpful staff. Food was well prepared and tasty. Rooms had all that you needed with some nice wee extras such as bottled water, coffee bags. Tissues toiletries」

「We only stayed one night and wished we had booked more. Spotless clean room, great staff, good food; beautiful property. Location was excellent and just a short walk to downtown and the cathedral! Would definitely return!」

「The hotel serves great breakfast, however it suits mostly for people with car, if not you will be wasting lots of time in transportation to get in and out there」

「It has to be said that the house and grounds are superb and Met my desire to have my friend wake up on her 80th birthday in palatial surroundings. However I have just been informed at the end of breakfast that it is not included in my Expedia booking! There is no warning of that whatsoever and I think that it is deceitful and deceptive. 」

「Relatively quiet hotel with access to restaurants nearby. Buffet breakfast was good but limited selections to chose from.」
