A really enjoyable stay at the Cromwell Hotel in Stevenage. The hotel has a lovely character and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were friendly, professional and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. The room was comfortable, clean and well presented, and the overall service made the stay feel relaxed and enjoyable. A great location too, with everything you need close by. Thank you to the whole team for the warm hospitality. I would happily stay again and definitely recommend the Cromwell Hotel to anyone visiting Stevenage.

Lovely, clean and well kept hotel. The room was a very good size, as was the bathroom. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was great, with good amounts of choice. Parking was free but not overly well signposted (as the entrance to the car park seems to have been relocated due to the new tearoom coming soon). If you drive past the hotel and go down the first road on the left, take another left and the car park is just there. Would definitely stay here again.

Decent enough hotel but it was during the heatwave and the rooms were too warm, could not open the windows much due to the limiter.

Room was lovely :) Staff were really nice and helpful . The only downside was it was 33 degrees outside and there was only 1 small fan apart from that we had an amazing weekend

Nice hotel in lovely area of Stevenage. Good sized car park, room spacious and clean as were all areas of the hotel. Breakfast was a disappointment, sausages and bacon anemic so not very appealing..toast for me!

Great hotel but I pressume because of its age this was the reason for no air con. The fan provided just circulated warm air, but it was 34° outside. This would not stop me from booking again. Breakfast was lovely, fresh and plenty of choice

The hotel had character - it’s nicely decorated and rooms are smart. Breakfast was really poor, badly organised (not enough of anything) scrambled eggs looked awful. Asked for tea twice, from two different people but no show. I put this down to it being wedding season. Was very busy. Hotel itself was nice and in a good spot, Stevenage old town is nice with loads of pubs, bars and restaurants to chose from all a walk away,

Hotel and staff lovely, very clean, friendly staff, room good. Restful stay, no. We stayed from Friday to Sunday, and there is clubs right across from the hotel, the noise was horrible. No sleep until 4am both night, only to be up again at 6am for early starts. Absolutely shattered was an understatement. Such a shame as it’s a lovely place.
