Nice stay, couple of the spa facilities didn’t work and it would have been nice to have the spa fires on. Food was really nice and bed was comfy.

Stayed in one of the VIP rooms. However, wasn't one with the jacuzzi which seemed a little misleading based on the description. Arrived at the spa for them to have no record of us and waited for them to sort it out which considering the paying for club access is kind of a mood killer. That said the spa is nice and the treatment was fantastic. One of the upstairs shower rooms has mould on the wall which again isn't acceptable. However the venue is lovely. Breakfast was amazing, with lovely pastries.

Overall an excellent hotel, the indoor pool was lovely and the staff gave great service. Breakfast was perfect, everything you could need. Slight cons are the loud music from the event didn’t end until 12.00 and for 40 mins after that there was a lot of loud talking and doors slamming which kept us awake so it’s worth checking if there are events on before booking. Also in busy times the drinks service was super slow. We were told it would be a 30 min wait for cocktails on a Saturday night. Plus Saturday lunch in the conservatory service was slow, we got our drinks after we finished our food and the sides came after that. Having said that the staff were lovely and we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. A huge thank you to the maintenance person who unlocked a stuck luggage lock, it was much appreciated.

Work retreat organised a few months ago.. Absolutely flawless check in, staff went out of their way to make our stay fun and memorable. Beautifully renovated with old and new features. The spa area was so refreshing. Would highly recommend booking the suites as really good value for money as all extras including spa access are included. You also get a private living space including an outdoor shared hydrotherapy pool which is great for a large group or family.

The hotel is ok. Smart, but feels a little tired. The main issue is the Spa - you pay more per night for access to the normal spa, or £60 per person per day. I've been in 10 year old council run swimming baths that are better. If you want access to the full spa, it's an additional £120 per person, per day. Have they made the normal spa really bad to encourage you to upgrade? It is not worth it.

The room was great and cosy, the restaurants, bars and lounge areas are so comfortable and well maintained. The spa is to live for, great swimming pool, sauna and steam, the relaxation room is the best, silent scented and cosy. I’ll definitely come back!

The room was not properly cleaned and had cobwebs everywhere, including on the ceiling. It was bad enough that I had to personally clean the dust and cobwebs off the bed's headboard just to feel comfortable.
