The place was CLEAN; the beds were NICE & FIRM; the linens were CLEAN; the room was updated with a tiled floor; sink area was nice; the bathroom, tub, and shower were updated -- nice; the staff was FRIENDLY & HELPFUL. I stayed here two nights for some cycling races; my request for a late checkout on day two was met with a smile and a "no problem, sure!" There is a GREAT breakfast/lunch joint within walking distance and a GREAT italian restaurant within a 5-minute drive. If you need a GREAT BASIC place to stay, this family-run operation fits the need!

Had to stay due to a family emergency and needed something fast and on a budget. Hotel was clean, cold air, and was very close to family. No complaints, but this is a very basic and clean hotel. Might want to pack your own towels, bath towels are small and thin. 4 stars because its the best to be expected for what it is.

Obviously at this price point, expectations are low. The beds were clean. The floor felt a little dirty and was clearly not cleaned along the baseboards. There’s a bright light that shines in from outside and you can hear people walking past. The tv remote didn’t work. Anyway, it was fine for the price.

It was the cleanest Rodeway I have ever stayed at. While they didn’t serve breakfast, I was extremely thankful for the clean room.

Parking was easy and right outside the room. Didn’t use the pool. Room was clean. Two negatives: office was locked when we arrived around 4pm. Had to use an outdoor phone to have someone come and check us in. The traffic from US 27 right outside was very loud, as was the air conditioner.

I had a great stay here and honestly was surprised. The room looked freshly remodeled, updated flooring, modern furniture, and everything felt clean. The bathroom especially stood out because it was spotless and looked recently redone, which is always a big deal for me when I travel. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were spotless, and I could tell the room had been properly cleaned. Nothing that made me uncomfortable. Staff was friendly and check-in was quick and easy. Overall, it was a solid, comfortable stay at a good value. I will definitely come back here next time when I’m in the area.

Staff was great. Room was dirty and the lock on the door was broken. The hotel was booked so I couldn’t ask for a different room.

It took over 15 minutes to get someone to check me in. The room wasn't cleaned while I was there. They straightened the bed and brought new towels and nothing else. The TV didn't work. They fixed it and it stopped working an hour later. I had to ask for more coffee after I used it the first morning. The guy didn't now where the coffee was and had someone bring it to me later. On the morning I left, I got up early and had to kill roaches running around the bathroom.

Both rooms reserved were dirty the bed sheets had nasty red blood stains on them. The bathroom had clearly never been washed with a towel still inside and pee all over the tub! The lady at the front desk stays sleeping in a back room with no help to offer and is very rude. AVOID BOOKING HERE
