「Short but sweet stay - room was excellent , dog loved it. Evening meal was a pleasant surprise - really well cooked and not ping food - Paella was excellent.」

「Staff were excellent. Very helpful. Food good. However, our room, No.3, was shabby, to say the least. Definitely not value for the price. Mould in the shower. Peeling wallpaper. Toilet window unable to open. Dirty carpet. Burnt arm on heated towel rail when bent down to retrieve towel from floor. No warning notice. Double wall socket peeling from wall. Dirty TV remote held together by sellotape. Small TV with poor sound. Photos support my assertions.」

「We didn’t have hot water for the whole of our stay. We were told it would come back on after the first day and it did not. The next time they said it we wanted to shower we had to do it in another room, however they asked us to share this room key with other people which wasn’t what we thought when booking. 「The property has an imposing stance and even before entering, suggests a degree of elegance and style. The start was not good, however, as upon entering the room, I found that it had not been serviced. I cannot remember if I received an apology - suggesting that maybe I didn't - but the hotel deducted the price of two bottles of wine from a dinner for 8 as a paliative. 「Room was adequate, the heated towel rail was on the other side of the bedroom wall so the bedroom was uncomfortably hot, even at night - but the wife preferred this. The bed was quite firm and a good size. It was difficult to view the TV screen from the settee on the back wall. Tea (Yorkshire) and coffees were plentiful - not so much biscuits. Full English, plus cereals, juice, toast and tea/coffee refills welcome.」

「We stayed in Owls Burrow. The Room was lovely. Cheesecake in a dome on arrival. Jug of water. Tea and Coffee Facilities. Nespresso Machine. Dressing Gowns. Fan if needed. Complimentary Toiletries to use while staying. Mattress comfortable. However 3 of the pillows were lumpy or flat. Be aware that the room faces a busy road. 「Very good basic room to lay your head for a night for the price. Spotlessly clean. Pastry and coffee included the next morning, parking was tricky and we had to park on the road outside. My only concern that there was a lot of noise during the night. Staff were very nice. Would say again.」
