「Great breakfast, good food, comfortable and clean room, pleasant courtyard and beer garden. Dog friendly and easy access to local walks, Hathersage and Stanage Edge. Would recommend.」

「Fabulous setting and surroundings, the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. We ordered the burgers from the evening menu and that is the only that spoilt the stay, they were extremely processed. All the rest of the food was great.」

「Room was adequate, the heated towel rail was on the other side of the bedroom wall so the bedroom was uncomfortably hot, even at night - but the wife preferred this. The bed was quite firm and a good size. It was difficult to view the TV screen from the settee on the back wall. Tea (Yorkshire) and coffees were plentiful - not so much biscuits. Full English, plus cereals, juice, toast and tea/coffee refills welcome.」
