「While checking in I had to wait 45 mins just to check in because there was no one at the front desk. The first room we were assigned to had German roaches in the room and we had to get moved to the other side of the hotel after being offered to get moved right next door where we literally saw a German roach. I was disappointed in this property.」

「A very nice hotel that I’ve never stayed in. I chose it because I could get a room with a kitchenette, which was nice for pre-race pasta. (We were there for a 14 mile trail run that finished at the Sheetz behind the hotel.)However, I am glad that I called ahead to ask about pots and pans and plates because they told me they do not have those in the rooms. 「My family has taken several trips to Calvert county, but this is the first we've stayed at this hotel. This was, by far, my favorite place to stay. The breakfast is awesome, and my kids loved the indoor pool. The room was nice. The plants in the lobby and pool room are gorgeous. The hotel is in a perfect central location. Every staff member I dealt with was super nice.」

「Great location and view of the river. The staff were also friendly. However, the beds were hard, and the bed comforter/blanket was thin and rough. There was also a musty smell in the room, due to the building's age. The window did not open, so that didn't help with the smell or air flow.
