Super friendly staff, let us store our luggage before check in and the luggage was waiting for our us in our room when we arrived at check in time, the bathroom was giant (with an amazing shower x bath tub) and 3 guests in one room did not feel cramped at all. Great wifi as well. A 10 minute walk to the nearest train was definitely worth it. Would stay again

Staff were all very kind. We ended up changing hotels because this one seemed super and also far away from the center of Kyoto. Our room in particulat had an off smell. I don't recommend coming here unless you have a car.

Best choice for Kyoto trip
Amazing hotel and best choice if you are visiting Kyoto/Inari. The location is close enough to touristic spots but it hidden from the overwhelming crowd. The rooms are big, clean and full of amenities. I highly recommend it.

Randor Residential hotel Kyoto Suites, 14-17 Nov
Location not easy to find using Google Map. About 25 mins walk from Tofukuji station. However, convenient to take bus to tourist spots. The room is spacious for 5 pax, with 1 shared bathroom. Free usuage of washing machine & dryer but dryers are not working well. Staff was helpful but hotel is unable to arrange luggage delivery from Kyoto to Tokyo hotel.

Very spacious room, enough for family of six. Only one bathroom. Nice jacuzzi tub though. Bathroom would’ve more versatile if the shower door is opaque, not see through. Mini kitchen is helpful since the property does not have a restaurant. Some of front desk staff do not speak English. English staff assisted in getting taxi to Kyoto station (too far to lug the luggages). Easy 10 minutes walk to Tofukuji station for JR and Keihan line.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We liked that this property had large rooms with plenty of space, the kitchen was well equipped and the had a great bathtub. The bed was very comfortable and the area surrounding the property was quiet. The main downside is the immediate area around the hotel lacks life but the nearest train station is about a 10 minute walk so it isn't too difficult get to sightseeing attractions. Overall our stay was perfect and we would come again.

Very nice hotel. Modern. Very new and clean. Felt it was a little far from subway station (10 min) walk. Not close to convenient store or coffee shops (5 min or more walk). And restaurant options are limited. But if you don’t mind a little walking it is easy to find the above. Definitely would consider staying again

The hotel is very nice, our room was very large and had a kitchen and spacious bathroom. The only thing we didn’t like is that the hotel is located in a residential area and doesn’t have any restaurants nearby.

Great value for the price. Very spacious and the shower/hot tub room was amazing. I would give it max score if not for some staining in the carpet and the difficulty operating the a/c. Would be great if one of the 3 remotes was English labeled. Would book this chain again on return to Japan

The hotel location is quite remote. It’s a 10min walk from nearest subway. Most part of the journey has no walkway so you have to pull the luggage on the road. There is no convenient shops and cafe nearby. It’s located in the middle of residential area. The mattress is very old and no support. Had backache for few nights. The sofa is too soft. You have to sit in the middle of the seat else you will sink in and very uncomfortable. Room is clean and they provided large rubbish bin.They had the most sophisticated elective kettle, took a while to figure how to use. No housekeeping for the 4 nights we stayed. Shower facilities is quite good. Room is large and TV is large too. Can watch YouTube on the TV. There are 4 washing machines at ground floor. Sadly, tried wash and dry, took 6 hours and the clothes is still moist. Had to walk 5min to a laundromat to wash the clothes.

Located a short walk from Tofukuji Station, we found this to be a nice quiet place to stay. The rooms were very spacious and a perfect blend of Japanese style while still accommodating western hotel expectations. A kitchenette allowed us to eat in during a heavy rain and a washer-dryer enabled us to pack less. The roof-top area is fantastic for relaxing. I would have appreciated knowing about a Kyoto hotel tax ahead of arrival.

Really great hotel! Watch out for taxes that you have yo pay when you arrive 200 ¥ by person by night. Also the washing where really bad, the stuff was not dry. All the rest was great!
