國王花園

Established in the early 17th century as the private gardens of King Christian IV's Rosenborg Castle, the park also contains several other historical buildings, including Rosenborg Barracks, home to the Royal Guards, as well as a high number of statues and monuments. It is the oldest and most visited park in central Copenhagen! And it was a really lovely visit! I took this photo on August 29, 2018.

I just returned from a 2 week trip! And this 17th century Renaissance Castle was one of my favorite sites! I was actually just 1 day in Copenhagen but tried to see as much as possible. This was absolutely a highlight! It's too bad I wasn't able to go inside, though. I arrived right at the time it closed. I took this photo on August 29th.

Originally built as a summerhouse for Danish royalty this castle now houses the Crown Jewels which are well worth seeing along with the rest of its stunning interior.
