"Love this hotel. Staff give exceptional service. The outdoor hotspring is amazing. A fireplace in the lobby and easy walk to lake and convenience store. A few restaurants nearby. Easy taxi ride to train station etc. Rooms are lovely."

"The good: great location. We had a wonderful view of Mt Fuji right from our room. Close to the sight-seeing bus line. Close to restaurants and department store. Onsen was fun. Neat to have a room with tatami mats and paper window panels. The bad: older building and in places really showing it's age. Staff only speaks Japanese (but Google translate helps with that). I also learned that futon mattresses aren't comfortable for me (my son loved them)."
