"Rooms could use some construction maintenance New flooring, floors were stained and dirty. A few things needs replacing or repaired."

"I had to book this additional night just to be able to check out at 4 pm because the front desk employee said they are fully booked and can not give me a late checkout so infront of him I booked an additional night and told him apparently you are not fully booked and informed the manager of what happened and she said oh you just booked the last room."

"Great staff and lovely safe place to stay. Apartments are well laud out and roomy. Could use a few more pots in the kitchen but otherwise great.only downfall is the tram system is 15 minutes away by taxi which is a little inconvenient. Will stay again for sure. "

"This property will cancel your reservation if you select the “pay upon arrival” option when booking through Expedia. We called and they gladly rebooked our room when we paid upon reserving. The hotel is absolutely perfect for families. Affordable, spacious, and clean. "

"Stayed here with a group of 6 friends for a 5 day trip to Instanbul for a mix of culture and socialising. Apollo Hotel was perfect for our needs. It’s superbly well located near Taksim Sq & St so great for bars but also easy to get into the old town via public transport. The hotel itself is amazing value, and we were all very happy with our rooms. Staff were very helpful, especially Amir, and could not do enough to make our stay more pleasant & fun. Definitely recommended and will visit again."

"ive stayed here many times because its a very good price for central istanbul- it is quite basic but it has character, it is in the tarlabasi a very old district of istanbul, a bit ramshackle- which i like, but safe,. there are friendly reception staff, close to istiklal caddesi with its many restaurants and shops. its on a very steep street so not great for people with mobility problems, it is also close to the famous sunday market, comfortable bed, i slept well"

"The place was perfect for our stay in Istanbul, and the staff were wonderful and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel welcome and at ease, and were always kind and attentive. The place was very cozy, colorful, and perfect for a couple staying in Istanbul. It is also walking distance to the metro station, and to Istiklal street, with access to numerous shops, restaurants, pharmacies, and grocery stores. "The staff was amazing- excellent customer service. From front desk, to spa, to house keeping, to waiters, to porters- wonderful interactions. Breakfast was great- loved the omelettes. It was clear that pastries were a day or two old at times and butter tasted like fridge once. That is ok. The view from the breakfast room looked wonderful but it’s really just of the soccer stadium (see photo attached). Unfortunately the room description was very misleading. Our view was a sliver of the Bosphorus....

"Excellent location and access to tramway. Very helpful staff and breakfast has all you need to feel good for the beginning of new day plus cost is included in price of stay. I would stay there again if Old Town is your main interest."
