「We had a lovely stay for just one night at The Airds Hotel. We were a bit late getting in and had to cancel an earlier dinner reservation because we were running behind. But the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to enjoy dinner in the restaurant. They also provided us a takeaway bag for breakfast as we had to check out early the next morning. 「This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem.」
