"A lovely place to stay! All was very clean and in excellent shape. The property is just down the street from one of Sturgeon Bay's shopping and dining districts as well as one playhouse. Robin is a bubbly hostess and served A-1 wonderful breakfasts! She knows Door County very well, and can give recommendations and tell stories about anything you're interested in seeing or doing. Easily would stay here again!"

Bay Motel

10/10 Excellent

"The check-in process was very disheartening. My husband and I are considering moving to Green Bay from Texas because my in-laws are older and live in WI, & we booked a room because he has a PA interview. We had been traveling a long while by car to get here & had made a reservation for non-smoking king size bed a couple of days before. The instructions were to let the hotel know if any type of animal was coming, & we let them know immediately after booking that we had a service animal. They confirmed the reservation & sent the appropriate confirmation letter and instructions. Upon our arrival, the lady at the front desk acted surprised and was very unpleasant when my husband told her we have a service animal and said that we would have to be moved to another room, a king room, and that the cost would increase as well. He told her he would have to talk to his wife, and he came out to with discuss me. I decided to go inside and speak with her. I asked her why there was a problem & told her that I had immediately informed them of our service animal at booking, and that the hotel had messaged back with instructions and confirmation as well as an update that on Sunday evening, which was yesterday when we arrived, the office would be closing at 8 PM. She said, “ I don’t see any messages, but I figured out how to make it work.” She never apologized even though she clearly violated ADA statute. We ended up staying, & the room was wonderful, but we are shocked at her attitude."

"Was there for one night. Check in was easy and staff were helpful. The room was clean, but it was obvious the prior person who was there had smoked. The bathroom was clean, but it had a weird industrial cleaner smell also. The AC worked. The bed was clean and comfortable. The TV worked. The included breakfast was actually pretty good, as far as hotel included breakfasts go. Location was relatively close to Lambeau. Though my room was a bit dated looking, it was clean and functional which is what mattered in the end. Overall, I would go back to this place when I come back for a visit after a game."
