「The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. 「The house is absolutely stunning! Pat the owner goes out of her way to make sure your stay is as wonderful as possible. She has everything for you toiletries, beverages, snacks, etc. She takes special orders for breakfast, which is amazing when traveling with picky eaters. 」

「Such a lovely building, clearly loved by all who work there. Information about the property, check-in procedure, etc. was communicated very clearly before my arrival. Fresh lemon blueberry scones were there for a snack when I arrived near midnight. Wow. When booking, I didn’t think about the lack of elevator at this property. My 68 year old knees did complain a little when climbing the external & interior stairs with my luggage.」

「We had traveled 9 hours and went to the restaurant after checking in. It was 830pm and the restaurant did not close until 10. There were 2 people standing at the hostess station. When asked for a table of 4, she said it would be a 30 minute wait. I looked around and saw many many empty tables and not a lot of business. When I reaponded “really?” her reaponse was “ we need to clean the table”. That would have taken 2-3 minutes and it seemed that they did not want the business so we...

「Plenty of parking space, room is spacious and clean. Very close to SDF airport and have free shuttle to airport so it was convinient for me and my son after we check out. The front desk staffs are so nice and proffessional, help me to check in early with out any hassle and adfitional fee, since we arrived 3hours early of check in time. The area is quiet,and have more hitels next to it. Will recommend to other travelers.」
