Castles in Jefferson County

Beautiful place to stay. Well appointed. Finished carpentry is beautiful.

Great hotel

Wow! What an exquisite experience! I have stayed in various places inside and outside the U.S. This was exceptional and very, very reasonably priced, as I thought I would explore a place close to home for a change. It began with a warm welcome from the owners, extending all the way to the farewell, concluding with an amazing breakfast highlighting the best ever berry scones! Immediately upon check-in I took a long decadent bubble bath in a very spacious tub and bathroom, relaxing to a most...

The place was great. The staff was super friendly, cleanliness was awesome for the whole COVID-19 situation. Did a great job with breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying at this place.

This little hotel was just wonderful! The scenic decks overlooking the Ohio River were so enjoyable! And we loved the Halloween decorations! The staff was super personable. The room was very clean and cozy. Breakfast was nice and we loved how they enclosed part of the deck so you could enjoy the view and have your breakfast but still stay warm. The little bar was well supplied and the prices were good. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Madison.

This is an excellent place start-up. The room was very well decorated! Very nice! The bed was sooo comfortable. The room and bath were very clean and the workmanship was very well-done. There were a few things still to do. The accessible room on the 1st floor was not quiet so a wedding rehearsal was right in there w us. There are issues with door entry codes, have a staffed, obvious check-in desk for service and directions to room. A posted guide to thermostat use, please have better coffee!...

The Hotel was nice and the staff was nice. The room was O.K. The carpet in the room had a big stain next to the bed.

When we reached our room the phone rang and asked if our room was OK. This has never happened to us EVER. The staff at this Comfort Inn were fabulous.

Very friendly staff. Nice room, great breakfast

Love Hillside Inn. Always go there when we go to Madison.

My three sisters and I stayed in the Boho room which was just perfect for the four of us! The building location was great and parking was not an issue. Our room and the building were very clean, updated but still included the charm of the historic past.

Room was beautiful and extremely clean. The bed and bedding were super comfortable and I didn't want to get out of bed the next morning!! Kids loved the pool! Staff was more than friendly as they took care of us!! Definitely would stay here again!! Loved the breakfast, just wish they offered different food that day. Had cheese omelet and sausage gravy with biscuits. Yuck cheese omelet!

Very clean property, very friendly staff!

The TV in my room was not working. The young receptionist came down to my room to help. After trying again, unsuccessfully, she carried a working set down to my room and exchanged for the one not working. She was very apologetic, and so very kind.

Super convenient with a friendly staff and nice room!

Nice room for the money
