"I've stayed in 8 different hotels in the Berlin/Sugarcreek area, and the Carlisle in Sugarcreek is by far my favorite. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the grounds are attractive and well-maintained. The self-serve breakfast is very good, and the evening snack of popcorn and freshly baked cookies is a great perk. I also love the unobtrusive low-volume music that plays in the hallways, and even outdoors, with speakers in some of the lampposts. On this visit I stayed in one of the "executive" rooms (at the corners of the upper floors). Although a bit more expensive, the room was huge and extremely comfortable, with lots of seating options, a jacuzzi and a gas fireplace to add to the atmosphere. My only wish would be options for brighter room lighting. Overall, WELL DONE!!"
