"We really enjoyed our overall stay at Lakeside Resort and Conference Center! The outside amenities are fantastic—the grounds are well-kept, there’s plenty to do outdoors, and the setting makes it very easy to relax and enjoy the resort. The inside of the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly throughout our visit. The only reason for taking off one star is that our balcony was completely taken over by giant spiders and webs, to the point where we unfortunately couldn't step out and use it at all. While being right near the water naturally attracts bugs, a quick power wash or pest sweep of the balconies before check-in would make a big difference. That aside, the outdoor spaces and amenities more than made up for it, and we’d definitely consider staying here again!"

"The cabin was clean but had issues with the doors sticking. The shower had freezing cold water and never got hot. It’s a nice place to stay otherwise and the price was right."

"Room was very clean as well as the entire property. Spacious room and comfortable bed, pillows are small and not comfortable. The portable HVAC unit placed on the wall beside the bed up near the ceiling is a terrible design. The HVAC unit blows air directly onto the bed throughout the night, there is an ability to adjust the angle of the airflow however it always dropped back down to directly onto you in a few minutes. The internet is more of a trickle of internet, 3-4 mbps is not ok, constantly had to reconnect. Nice property overall, well designed, just some details that we did not care for."
