"Hotel is in a very convenient location with Don Quiote just around the corner, restaurants all around, train stations within 15 mins or less and of course right in the shadow of the shrine. Heads up that there are only 2 washer and dryers on the 8-10 floors but one load with jeans took 4 hours to wash and dry, the dryer took forever but the laundry timing on the tv was awesome! Breakfast was tasty with a nice variety to choose from. My favorite was the free lattes from the coffee machine in the lobby!"

"Location was perfect for us since the hotel is just right outside the Skyliner Keisei Ueno station. Coming from and going to Narita airport, the hotel location is very accessible. A little heads-up though...if you're going on an overnight trip and planning on leaving your luggages at the hotel (since you're checking in again in the next days) this APA hotel branch does not allow you to leave the luggages overnight. We did this in our past Japan trips and the hotels were ok with it. Even this branch, we were able to leave our bags for a few days since we went to Yokohama. I think they changed their policy on this. Anyways, there are coin lockers at the station."

"Nice hotel close to a metro station in the sumo area of town. It is also next to Edo-Tokyo museum and the Yasuda Garden, which is a beautiful Japanese gardening where one can enjoy walks in. The hotel rooms were clean but small. The upper floor pool was closed for the “season”, it’s late June now/summer so I don’t understand when is the right season. I wish they would mention the dates the pool is open in their pool information because they sell you the pool on their promotion but its closed like 90% of the years, it just seems deceiving. The breakfast buffet is good but it’s the same every day, it never changes at all. So that's something to consider."

"Very clean and nice hotel with a great view. Staff very attentive and helpful. The staff assigned to the elevator area were very helpful in directing people traffic and always quick to offer a cheerful greeting. The staff in the porte cochere area were very friendly and helpful with assisting guests out of their vehicle and assisting guests in obtaining a taxi. The staff at the lobby restaurant was very courteous and accommodating. The server on our last day ensured that we got to eat our favorite dessert ! She remembered because since we ordered on our first day there and we just loved it! After that, each time we ordered it they ran out. But on the last day, she asked us if we wanted to order it. And she said that it was available!!! We were so HAPPY!!! GREAT HOTEL & GREAT STAFF !!!"
