"This place is just awesome! It's right in the middle of town, walkable to restaurants and shops, a 5 minute drive from Winter Park, and a perfect blend of modern chic and winter coziness. John is such a welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable host who made us feel right at home! The common areas include a bar serving beers, cocktails, and snacks (all delicious local brands) and a hot tub on the second floor outdoor terrace overlooking the front of the property. Our room - the Bear - was spacious, sparkling clean, and perfectly decorated. It has a large walk-in closet, his/her sinks, a soaking tub (plus separate shower), a mini-fridge, modern fixtures, and high-tech everything - including a sound machine! It can be rare these days to find family-owned properties with proprietors who clearly love what they do and take such pride in creating 'a home away from home' for us weary travelers. Winter Park Chateau is such a gem, and we can't wait to come back!"
