"What a great place to stay! Perfect location right across from the pier. Started with great valets - so nice and helpful. Quick and easy check in - front desk staff also so nice and helpful. Traveling with my dog and as noted in other reviews, they are very welcoming of dogs. Rooms are nice, comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast was delicious with a view of the pier and beach from the patio seating. This was my first time here and will be be my go to place next time I’m in Huntington Beach."

"For the price you get (weekday pricing) this was a good motel (would not consider this a hotel). The room could have been cleaner upon arrival. The staff was friendly and helpful and you are steps away from the beach which in itself is why I booked this place and gave my rating what it was. The cons: My sheets were not changed when they came to clean the room while I was out and there was still sand on the floor. I tried to track as little sand in from the beach as possible but expected the amount that was brought in to be swept up. I requested a broom to sweep myself. The mirror in the bathroom must have been a recent addition because it blocked the sink handle from being able to lift completely. The result was a trickle of water coming out of the sink. Enough where I could still brush my teeth, wash my hands and face however, it was quite the nuisance to not have full water pressure out the sink. The solution would require a contractor to come in so I did not bother the staff with this as they would not be able to resolve. The owners are ultimately responsible for this and should be aware."
