"This place was perfect for our family of four after a day at Universal Studios. It’s a great value and convenient for folks with a car who still want some walkable options. The Ovation mall area was great and easy to get to. It is downtown Hollywood, so of course you’ll see some homeless in the area. We felt super safe and weren’t bothered. It reminded us of staying in Europe - a big international traveler presence and no frills (bring your own soap/shampoo, etc.). It was a great low cost option for a short stay, and the staff was great. "

"Rooms were clean and staff were helpful and friendly. Great location on walk of fame. Hotel is starting to show a little bit of its age with damaged woodwork around bathroom doors but all in all is still great and woujd happily stay here again. "

"Good value for money. Hotel is a bit out of the way for the main areas of LA for restaurants or shops but with the local buses or taxi then you can get to most places. The hotel does have a bar area that serves food and drink with an outside area. The rooms were a good size with fridge and storage space. Very clean with fresh linen and towels."

"Too noisy for us. You hear road noise all night along with conversation form the neighboring rooms, as if their in the same room as you. We didn't use any ammenities since it was just an overnight stay for a play. That was very convenient. Some repairs need to be done in the room and the bathroom had a odd smell resembling a skunk."
