「The staff was very helpful when I change my stay from 3 night to 2 nights. They also were nice enough to change me from a 2nd floor room to the first floor when they found out that I was having a knee replacement. The ebening after my surgery my sister went to the Bar/Restaurant and was able to get us someting to eat which was very good. 「Driving from Michigan to New Hampshire I was looking for a convenient, affordable place to stop for the night. Located right off the NY Thruway in Utica, this was the perfect place. Clean, cheap, and quiet. Discovering Willie’s Bagel Cafe at the motel entrance was a bonus! The veggie omelette and fresh coffee were the fuel I needed to get back on the road. Be sure to go early, they get busy around 8.」

「The surrounding area looks economically depressed and we had some initial concerns about safety. Check in was easy. We were provided with two keys for the front door and room door. The house is well maintained and in keeping with original design. We stayed in the wine and roses room which is next door to the kitchen.
