"This hotel is great. The interiors are really well designed and comfortable. Really cleanly kept and the managers and staff were brilliant. I prefer it to the old Ace hotel. There were only a few things in that downtown is now in so much disrepair post- pandemic I didn’t realize until I got there and and it just doesn’t feel safe - esp at night if walking from parking. I walk around NYC at night and it’s fine. These blocks are just empty and full of homeless people. Not meaning of any harm but it’s hard to feel ok. The hotel amenities I think were closed, the bar on the top deck and on the ground floor remained closed, which was annoying, but otherwise good stay."
