「We had an excellent experience at this cute Lodge! Check-in/Check-out was easy, staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. Reservations for hot tub use was a plus to allow time for all to enjoy. The spaces were clean and breakfast was nice. Walking distance to good Mexican food. 」

「Frequently stay in the Fairplay area for work and the Hand hotel has been by far the most enjoyable place to stay. The other option (Riverside Inn) has always been extremely noisy and the staff don't seem to care much about customer concerns. The Hand hotel staff were excellent and it was convenient having the cafe down-stairs... just be aware it isn't open every morning, but there are other options close by. It is a historic building so keep that in mind when booking.」

「Beautiful historic hotel in a perfect location. Plenty of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable. There is no front desk, so it’s more of an air’b’n’b experience. 」

「We had a very pleasant stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Salida. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Staff was very accomodating. The hot tub and pool were fun for the kids. Breakfast buffet had everything you could possibly want. 」
