The Delaware Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"It’s a very old hotel so set your expectations accordingly as far as size and amenities. But for what it is, I really enjoyed my stay. It’s a beautiful building and the lobby receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The shower was very small, but again, this building is 145 years old. The room wasn’t very cool and I couldn’t find the thermostat if there even was one. But if you go into it with expectations that it’s a beautiful, historic building that may lack a couple of modern amenities, you should enjoy your stay. There’s also plenty of good food, coffee and bar options nearby."

"Was the perfect spot! We only stayed one night, but definitely wish we could’ve stayed longer! What a beautiful view and the cutest little houses and cabins! We stayed in the Harvard and it was plenty of room for our family of 6!"

"We only stayed until 3am to hike Sherman. However, the room smelled like sewer gas. We opened the window and turned on the fan and that helped. Staff was great and everything else was awesome."

"Nice tiny house. Had everything we needed. Great communication. Helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. Great location. The main street is literally up the block and everything is walkable including restaurants, the opera house, stores etc. Lots to explore nearby also. Will definitely come back again. Dedicated parking right outside the house. Perfect and easy to organize if you want to head up to Leadville and even just stay a night or two rather then driving back home. Perfect for a quick getaway."
