「The carousel parking worked out okay, but it is a little bit of a challenge to enter. The unit is small but super clean and a more than adequate kitchen. We could hear the shower running in the unit above us, which was only an issue in the middle of the night. Overall, very satisfied.」

If I had to make minor suggestions, did not like that water spraying, hot, noisy toilet seat and the rooms are a bit dark meaning the walls and trim. 「I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! From the moment I arrived, they were extremely helpful getting my luggage out of my car and into my room. They were so kind. The hotel itself is beautiful and we enjoyed the rooftop bar/restaurant and ate the most incredible meal. Our room was perfect! We loved it so much and have decided we will stay here everytime we visit Charleston!」

「Great hotel! The room was spacious and clean. Very nice staff. Great location. The only negative is that we could hear the restaurant music from our room so it was a little annoying. Otherwise it was great!!」

「Breakfasts were fine, but somewhat limited in options. Parking was extremely convenient, as we were able to park right outside the property every day we were there. Location was great. We were able to walk to great dining experiences and the park across the street was a great place to sit and chat. The top floor reading area was also a great place to relax.」

「Barksdale House in was fantastic. We loved the charm of this house! The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Our room was very clean and cozy. The breakfast was delicious! I do wish the bed was not quite as high or had some steps by the bed. I'm 5'2" and it was difficult to get in, but that's just from a short girl like me. I would choose Barksdale over and over again.」
