The staff were very friendly and helpful, our room looked great, but the air conditioning every time it kicked on sounded like a jet engine and kept us up throughout the night, we had a room that was on the first floor and we're woken up early in the morning by garbage trucks and some staff out in the hallway banging things around. In addition to that, I got home and hours after I got home I got a message that I was charged $51 for valet parking which no one told me I was going to be charged for when I checked in or when I checked out. As far as I knew we weren't even given the option to park the car ourselves, I thought that for the expense of almost $550 a night valet parking would be included. Breakfast consisted of a very small croissant, a tiny muffin, an apple, and an unripe banana. Again, for the price of one night my total came to about $600 and I honestly expected more for that kind of money. Luckily I had a good time in Charleston regardless, but I feel like I've been raked over the coals as far as prices are concerned regarding the Vendue
