「Lovely stay. Our room was very spacious with a little patio. Comfortable beds. Lovely, helpful staff. We enjoyed a great meal, game of pool and darts after visiting the motorhome show. This is a great base fir rxploring the area with a very pretty out door eating and drinking area. Photos do not do it justice. Goid value for money 」

「Beautiful place, with excellent staff. We were unluckily because they celebrate weddings and we arrive with a wedding on-going. The music was fine (not too loud) the guest were fine, normal noise for a wedding. The kids fron the wedding were under our window, playing shouting and screaming (normal for kids) but it was very late night and very early morninig so we did not have too much rest. We will come back but we will make sure is not a wedding day.」

「Phil is a great host, he explained and gave us a quick tour of the property, he gave us good recommendations for little excursions. The property was clean and very cosy, I would always recommend for anyone who wants to get away from the busy city life... 」

「A last minute booking at this small out of the way historic inn. It was busy at the bar where we checked in so a short wait. Room was basic but well appointed, bed super comfy, shower was hot, tea and coffee in room. Self serve continental breakfast in a dining room was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and beautifully presented. Set in a small town with adjoining farmland. Close the Hampton Court Castle and gardens.」

「Everything about Mill Lodge was exceptional. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Special breakfast to die for. Great bed, ensuite, walks on the river and quaint town. You will love staying here.」

「Lovely, well equipped property in beautiful, peaceful location, but only short drive to pubs for good food and nearby Monmouth - lovely town with great selection of supermarkets and individual shops and eateries. Beware the 2 speed bumps on your final approach to the property. Would definitely stay here again. 」

The thoughtful, detailed, quality touches throughout - from the fabrics, furniture and pillows in the room, to the delicious home made breakfast compotes and locally sourced fresh produce, Kiel and Stuart have created a gem here. Not to mention the beauty and character of the stone farmhouse itself, which has been sympathetically renovated throughout. What a treat. 「We found out quite late we have no hot water. We called the staff who said they'll see what can be done and call us right back. They never called. I the morning, when we asked again for the water to be repaired, they tried a few things and said they should be OK in about 10 minutes. We waited 30. Nothing happened, so we gave up. Also, the closet door was missing a screw and the door came apart. 」
