I don't normally write reviews, but this place was so good, I just wanted to say so. The room was spacious and very good. The staff were friendly and helpful We ate in the pub, a typical pub menu, but the food was fresh, home-cooked and excellent. Really good value for money. If you want to be in this area, then this is the place to stay.

Good stay, nice beds and I slept well, the underfloor heating would be lovely on a colder day but felt a bit much in June. Great acconmodation for exploring the Welsh Marches.

Our room was small but lovely, with a very good shower and lots of clean towels. The continental breakfast was plentiful and shared with other guests in the breakfast room. All the staff we met were friendly and polite, treating locals and guests with the same respect and courtesy. Our evening meal was delicious, with tasty vegetarian options as well as lots of meat/fish on offer and the draught cider was especially welcome in the heat! We found this place by chance but we definitely enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again.
