Phenomenal property and staff who went the extra mile to make you feel at home and also assist with all your needs during stay. Complementary SUV ride back to airport was a special touch. Classy staff and classy hotel - will recommend to all business associates and clients.

LOVED OUR STAY HERE! Very clean, neat, & the staff was absolutely fantastic!! Food was great! Oh the saunas were so so so relaxing. The only reason I checked off the area outside of the property being unsafe is that Ecuador was under marshall law so we did not feel safe outside the hotel. BUT WE FELT TOTALLY SAFE & COMFORTABLE INSIDE!!! Did I mention how friendly the staff were!!!!! Cannot wait to came back!

Amazing room. Very comfortable beds. Veey clean. Staff very nice. Delicious breakfast.

Beautiful authentic boutique hotel. I had to stay one night on my way to Galapagos and did not want to stay at one of those chain modern places. This hotel is very charming, with hammocks outside and place to walk safely on the property. Bonus airport transfer included. Onsite restaurant open till 10PM with great food.

If in Quito, a must visit for a few days! From the hikes, the view, the food to the hot springs, just a perfect time!

What a beautiful place

I somehow thought this would be closer to the airport, but it was about a 30 minute drive. Nevertheless, Llalo was very clean, safe, professionally operated and the breakfast on the porch was ideal. The rates were appropriate for the lodging. I highly recommend it.

the place is a piece of paradise. Even though it is a little ways off, it is worth it. If you like nature and luxury at the same time, this is the place to be. Make sure to ask the staff to turn on the fireplace.

The staff were great. The airport shuttle worked very well and breakfast was good. The shower and bathroom was very nice. Filtered water was available in the office and the grounds were nice with places to sit. The room was pretty small by tolerable. We highly recommend this hotel.

I had the pleasure of staying for two nights. I had a number of medical issues as related to my diet. Every request was made with a smile. When I left I had to be at airport at 4am. No problem... They made a special breakfast to order. The whole grounds are immaculate. The main 'casa' is loaded with amazing artwork. Paintings sculptures etc. You literally can spend an hour looking thru one of their sitting areas and then look again and realize you missed a dozen objects. I can't figure out how...

Everything about the stay was perfect. The facility looked brand new, and the staff were exceptionally helpful, often going above and beyond their responsibilities. The location is extremely convenient, taking less than 8 minutes to reach the airport at any time of day. Please note that there is no direct access to the hotel from the highway, which made my first arrival a bit confusing. However, once familiarized with the area, getting to the property is very easy. For future guests, I...

We had to evacuate Quito emergently during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. Unable to get a flight that night, we purchased nights at the Hotel Alpachaca for $20 / night / room. Turning onto the dirt road, we were nervous. Happily, the hotel was well built, clean, and staffed by friendly people. The next morning they served us a breakfast of bread and cheese sandwiches, cooked-to-order eggs, and tea or instant coffee. We tried to pay the $2.50 per person breakfast charge, and they refused to...

Two NOTES - Uber Quito does NOT know the location of this place and will take you somewhere 40 minutes away, in Quito park instead. And... the entrance of this place is a big steel door that slides open when you get out and push the call button. REVIEW - My son and I were flying out of Quito and needed a place to stay the night before our flight. Unfortunately, we got super sick from something we ate in the Galapagos the day before and could barely function when we arrived at Quito Airport...

This hotel is an old hacienda from 1910 with a cool nature trail. There is a great breakfast provided in lovely dining room with a fire place. The land scape is nicely maintained with pretty flowers and birds all around. We even were feeding llamas with carrots. It is all plesantly surprising finding for the hotel within 15 min from the airport. The advice: take the transportation arranged by the hotel for a reasonable fee. They will even meet you in the airport. Do not be put off by the...

Such a lovely and peaceful retreat, with truly hospitable owners.

Stayed one night for a layover in Quito. Very close to the airport, simple amenities but enough for one night. They offered free shuttle service to the airport, I just gave the driver a tip. Would recommend for airport layovers.

excellent option for overnight near the airport. The hotel arranged pick-up (for a charge) and drop off; quick check-in, a comfortable quiet bed for the night, am breakfast. The buildings are inside a walled compound, with plenty of space plus protection from neighborhood noise, and a sense of security. Staff were helpful.
