"While I booked this hotel, it is currently under renovations. I wish Cesar would have let me know before as I arrived in the dark with my Uber driver telling me that this is not a safe area. "The breakfast is exceptional! Huge variety of breads, fruits, cheeses, juices, etc. This is a beautiful, elegant hotel with pool, gardens, flowers spilling everywhere, interesting decor. We had a minor hiccup with transportation from the airport but the hotel reimbursed us for the price of the taxi. I highly recommend Hotel Rincon de Puemba if you need a place to stay on your way to or from the Galapagos Islands. Very pleasant and peaceful."
