"There is not a positive about this property. It is in a very scary area. Not in a neighborhood or residénciale. There was no host communication until we reached out. The man who is point of contact from Expedia, Giro, says the right man is David, who leaves you with MarieLou. Toilets and plumbing are backed up, had to walk four blocks to a restaurant to use the bathrooms. "I stayed at the Wyndham Garden Guatemala City at the beginning of September and had a great experience. The property was very clean, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Parking was available on-site, which was convenient—though it can be a bit limited during busy hours. The hotel is located in a very nice and safe area, within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants, cafés, and several shopping centers. It made exploring the neighborhood incredibly enjoyable. The only downside wasn’t the hotel’s fault: getting in and out of Guatemala City can be challenging due to heavy traffic, which made day trips to Antigua and Lake Atitlán more difficult than expected. Overall, I highly recommend Wyndham Garden Guatemala City for comfort, convenience, and great service. I would definitely stay here again."
