"Both the service and staff were fantastic and patient. Everyone was attentive and always with a smile and it never felt forced. I didn’t know what to expect at first but this has most definitely easily and most certainly become one of my favorite hotels and I travel a lot. I didnt go into the pool but it seemed nice. The breakfast was great with a nice selection. The hotel always seemed clean and well taken care of."

"We enjoyed our 2 nights stay at Barcelo Guatemala City. Delicious breakfast with comprehensive spread. Nice pool and poolside area for hanging out. Good dining options although they appear quite expensive and we did not try any of them. Rooms were nice and clean with good amenities."

"There's a lot of noise at night coming from the building across the street. It's hard to fall asleep. Also, when I made my reservation, I booked it with breakfast included, but when I arrived, they told me it wasn't included. Breakfast should always be included."
