"The staff was welcoming and super nice. The room was clean. The Jacuzzi needed a deeper cleaning, but it might have been opened recently."

"I stayed in Lodge 8 which had 3 rooms and 5 beds & 2 bathrooms in February over a three day weekend. We were right in front of the lake and can see it from our kitchen & top bedroom windows. Stayed there with my little family of 3 and another group of 3. Everyone absolutely loved the free paddle boat and used it every day. The lodge came with everything that was needed. There’s a list inside that will tell you what it has and it does have everything in that list, you have to look for it. It has kitchen supplies already like pots and pans, dish washing soap, microwave and oven +more. Bathrooms have shampoo & conditioner, soap+ toilet paper. The lodge had a fireplace that we used every day there. I took my own candle lighter which was convenient to start the fire. For the summer it has fans, there is no AC, we didn’t see one, so that may not be great on hot days. Every room had fans in the closets. I loved the proximity to the village and the markets with lots of restaurants nearby to drive to or walk to. We never saw an employee and it was fine, we didn’t need one. Check-in is on your own, the office had an envelop with our key in it and we dropped it off in the same location when checking out. Only issue was that it said the room came with 2 parking spaces, but the spaces outside were marked with your lodge number and only 1 space was marked. It was never clear where the other space was and there was. Luckily there was plenty of space to street park."

"We were disappointed with our stay due to multiple problems. Check-in was super frustrating, we never received the expected text for mobile check-in, and when I got through on the phone they told me you can only check in through text. They can’t do it over the phone, which makes no sense in a mountain town where cell service is spotty. It took almost half an hour to get the text then go through their online system to finally get another text with the code. A creek was actively flowing directly through the parking lot and right through our assigned parking spot for the unit, creating hazardous and inconvenient conditions that made accessing our car difficult. The kitchen only had non-microwavable bowls with no other options if you wanted to microwave any food. Additionally, the unit was advertised to accommodate a fifth person with a futon, but instead we found only a bunk bed setup with a double on the bottom, offering no separate sleeping arrangement as shown in pictures. Also the pool from the pictures is located a 5-10 minute drive away towards the village where there is nonstop traffic in the winter. Overall, these issues combined to make the stay below expectations and we wouldn’t choose to book there again."
